Horseshoe Handle

A horseshoe is placed in the forge, heated and hammered straight. It is then heated and twisted. It is then heated and the end drawn out and curled. If the tool in question is a fork or a steak snager, the tines are hammered out. Spatulas, spoons, dippers, and strainers are then riveted to the other end.

BBQ tools are created from used [recycled] horseshoes by heating, straightening, twisting, and forging the ends. Forks and steak snagers are one piece. The tines are drawn out on the anvil.

Spoons, spatulas, dippers, and strainers are riveted to the handles.
